The property is in a very central area, less than 10 minutes on foot from the train station and only a short walk from the metro, making it easy to reach Piazza Duomo, Piazza Stesicoro, Palazzo Biscari, the Benedictine Monastery, Le Ciminiere, Castello Ursino and Teatro Bellini on foot or by public transport.
Just 100 metres away you will find Catania's historic “A Fera o Luni” market and the renowned fish market; in around 20 minutes on foot, or 5 minutes by city bus, you can also reach the seaside solarium of Piazza Europa for a swim.

CENTRO CITTA' MY HOUSE offers immersive and unique excursions on Mount ETNA with a private SUV (Jeep Renegade) exclusively for guests of the holiday home. Starting directly from Centro Città My House, the route reaches Rifugio Sapienza on the western side at 1,900 metres, crossing several Etna villages along the way.
During the drive guests can admire extinct craters dating back to the 1900s, now covered with vineyards, majestic lava flows and two guided excursions of low difficulty on the Silvestri Craters at 2,000 and 2,200 metres, with breathtaking views across the volcano, the sea and the Gulf of Catania, ideal for memorable photos and videos.
The experience continues down the eastern slope with a stop at the Monte Pomiciaro lava flow cave, where real lava stalactites known as dog's teeth can be seen on the tunnel ceiling. Guests receive heavy jackets for the whole excursion as well as protective helmets for the cave visit.
The itinerary then reaches Acitrezza, a fishing village washed by crystal-clear sea and famous for its Faraglioni sea stacks, majestic rocks formed about half a million years ago by volcanic activity and made even more iconic by Giovanni Verga's novel I Malavoglia. Guests can also visit the Museo del Nespolo before returning to Catania along the city's famous seafront promenade, a favourite place for locals to admire the deep blue sea.

The route continues to Acitrezza, a fishing village washed by crystal-clear sea and famous for its Faraglioni sea stacks, majestic rocks created by volcanic activity and made even more iconic by Giovanni Verga's novel I Malavoglia. Here guests can visit the Museo del Nespolo, enjoy a walk along the seafront and taste the delicious Sicilian granita included in the tour price.
Continuing along the SS114, the drive passes several villages facing the clear Ionian waters before reaching Naxos and beautiful Isola Bella, a picturesque and evocative place that still preserves all of its charm. The tour then arrives in Taormina, suspended between the sea and Mount Tauro at 205 metres above sea level, with two free hours to visit the historic centre and its characteristic artisan shops before returning to Catania via the city's famous seafront promenade, a favourite local spot for admiring the deep blue sea.
